On March 2, 2020, Kekumbas defeated HMB Gaming 3-1 in the first ever CACL Silver League Finals.

The organization-less team of Beany, Brobee, Leyko, Ouhtrun, and Xodak finished the playoffs undefeated with a map count of 15-3, despite being the ninth overall seed. Although Kekumbas never lost more than one map in any of their playoff series, their path to the finals was difficult on paper, as they had to face the number one ranked team and heavy favorite to win the league in Fear Sanction, the fourth seeded and eventual runner-ups in HMB Gaming, and second seeded Team Xeroatic.

Ouhtrun was named Finals MVP, with K/Ds of 1.05 in HP, 1.90 in S&D, and 1.93 in Domination.

Upon completion of its first season, league owner John Ice admits that he isn't sure about the future of the Silver League. "We may continue to use it as a free entry league, but I couldn't give you an official answer on whether it'll be up and running for another Modern Warfare season." Ice cites the difficult task of filtering players with varying skill levels as the reason why the Silver League has a murky future, "It worked well during the regular season. The best team during the season also played in the Gold League and struggled against the best teams. Then during the final roster lock before playoffs, teams scrambled to pick up players who were obviously way more advanced and skilled at the game than those who initially signed up and wanted to get better."

When asked how he'd rate the inaugural season, Ice admitted it needed some work. "Definitely an overall rating of seven. Regular season was about a nine, but the mess in the playoffs lowers the score in the long run."
